    1. History has shown in this sport that, if the champion didn't get koed and goes to a split, judges go by the champion ALWAYS...I'll remind you GSP vs Hendricks...Remember the demolition that George took in that fight??

    2. easy on the absolutes my sith friend. Splits do not always go to the champ, in fact Lawler won his title off a split against Hendricks.

    3. because then it will be controversial which means there will be a rematch which means more $$$$$$$ smh

    4. I have the theory that some judges go to work being high, that would explain some things

    5. @dimitris koronakos I agree with you but how exactly did Lawler get the belt? By decision over Hendricks...I like Lawler a lot and he's been a great warrior as champ...but he didn't "earn" the belt even though he's defending it well.

    6. Dimitris Koronakos - not true...look at Dillashaw Cruz fight.

  2. ^^^^^^ Thats what I'm saying!!!! Judges mustve not been paying attention or they weren't relying on it going to decision so they didnt keep score and just said fuck it at the end. SMH,first robbery by the judges of the year, didn't take long.

    1. Close fight, in no way was this a robbery. Condit didn't land a significant strike besides that one knee in the first 3 rounds. At some point damage has to come into it. The judges clearly didn't think he did enough to win the 3rd round. Can't say I am in a huge disagreement. Even with little out put Robbie probably had the 5 hardest strikes in the round.

Condit looked fantastic in the 4th when he actually decided to put some some muscle into his shots but then blew his wad and was lucky to not get knocked out by the end of it. This is a legitimate split decision fight that could have gone either way. No where close to a robbery.

    2. are you even watching??? you say only the knee by condit is the only significant strike he landed on the first 3 rounds? you do not know much about mma do you?

I agree it is a close fight, but not as close as you think. you cannot give a decision based on significant strikes alone. and besides, total strikes landed by lawler is nowhere near the half landed by condit. plus octagon control, plus aggression.

9 out of 10 MMA sites call this in favor of Condit. Even UFC PRESIDENT DANA WHITE had this for Condit as well. Rematch is on the way I believe.

  8. I had Lawler winning rounds 2,3,& 5. Extremely close fight but Condit simply didn't do enough to take the belt. Condit landed more but Lawler landed the harder shots and almost put Condit away in the 5th.

  9. Almost my ass Condit has a stone chin lawler has been knocked out cold by Nick Diaz.

  16. im a Carlos fan, and Robbie also..........In terms of SIGNIFICANT strikes, claimed by the UFC, what constitutes a significant strike??? Carlos threw a SHIT ton of strikes, as he always had!!! Pepper, pepper, pepper!!!! keep em coming!!! But Robbie landed the most power shots!! UFC will not give the win to someone who has peppered the whole night, but the one who landed the big shots? Thats what UFC loves!!!!! KO game!!! Robbie did just enough to beat a Carlos, while Carlos, punched all those pepper strikes, great in numbers, but didnt land damage!!!!! Lawler is STILL the man!!! im the HATED one!!!!!! lol

    1. In very few words, this makes everything you said void: Hendrix whooped JSP's ass, you know, according to YOUR expressed "big shots", but they handed JSP the win.

  18. Condit put on a clinic. Lawler had heart and luck but was still outclassed.

  19. They need to redo the scoring system in the UFC. Takedowns are extremely over scored. It would be one thing if they do significant damage after the takedown, but when all they do is hit the mat for a few seconds and get back up without landing a single punch or anything, there should be no points awarded. If they reward the person doing the takedown, they should also reward the one taken down for getting back to his feet and not taking any damage, therefore canceling each other out. We can call it the Phil Davis rule lol Dude would get his ass kicked for the entire fight but he had 3 take downs he wins.

  20. No way NBK lost that fight! The Judges get confused by the preceived harm in the output, whereas we've seen a lot of seemingly small hits knock out fighters with serious chin, I'm not saying dont score it, but fuck this argument is stupid!
It's rare that knockout blows are wild fists swinging. So just shut the fuck up with that!

NBK won, loud and clear. Fan's voting on most website was over 60% Carlos and nearly 20% were calling for a draw. Most websites and fans agree, it was not that close. Actually the only close rounds in this sense were the 2nd, and the 5th. Where condit heavily outlanded Robbie yet Robbie landed a few big shots on Carlos, one that floored him in the second and then was the end of the 5th when Carlos gassed.

Carlos wanted to make the fight into a brawl in the 5th betting on him hurting Robbie or knocking him out, as much as Robbie did, except Robbie had to finish, Carlos was winning up to that point. I think Carlos was afraid to win another fight like the Diaz fight. Fans are fucking retarded and he wanted to win their favor against Robbie who already has it. He should have stuck to technique and picked Robbie apart if he wanted to win. Carlos was hurt by the fans response after the Diaz fight, although he outclassed Diaz, who'a fan-base and people watching taunting instead of fighting thought Diaz was winning by some miracle of cosmic stupidity, lack of attention and bias. Anyway, I really hope for a rematch as well.

  21. That decision was disgusting. Condit CLEARLY 48-47, a case can even be made for 49-47. The judging here was despicable.

  22. Shit you can make an argument that Carlos won every round. When i first saw this i thought Robbie won the 2nd, but Carlos was out striking him. He was really starting to open up and then he got caught him a bomb. But after that Robbie coudnt do anything. They stood back up and Carlos continued to out strike him. Completely snuffed out Robbies momentum in that round.

In the 5th i originally gave it to Robbie but once again Carlos out struck him. He was dominating the round for the first 3:20 of the round and then Robbie turned it on. But even while robbie was throwing all those bombs carlos was still striking and landing. He really wasnt in as much trouble as i thought he was when i first watched the fight.

    1. I agree most part. NBK won imo. The fifth round tough, even after second watching, still belongs to Robbie imo even if he was out-struck for most of the round. Why I gave to him then? Well, the BOMBS eh threw at condit were INSANE, FREAKIN' INSANE. I have no idea how BOTH fighters were able to stand (barely lol) after this WAR.
